Fab 5

Can you read their shirts?

Well, it's true! We will soon be a family of 5-that's crazy!

I just love them and can't wait to see what #3 will look like!

I had my first doctors appointment and am due December 7, 2011!

This pregnancy has me feeling tired and hungry with a keen sense of smell. I didn't know I was pregnant until I had the stomach flue and then was suspicious of other symptoms I had been having.

I am 12 weeks and we nervous and of course excited!

Caitlin is "so big" and Carson, naturally wants a boy and I think we are going to wait and be surprised this time...that is if I can wait!

Day 11

My mom is super fun, always the life of the party! She makes everyone feel welcome and is a great cook. She loves nature and is always helping us to try new adventures. She would drop anything in a minute if we really needed her. My mom always made our birthdays a big deal, making us feel important. She would usually pick us up at lunch plus a friend and we would play hookie for the rest of the day! Because of her, to this day I still love birthdays...maybe a bit too much, huh Andrew?!

Day 9

My dad has always worked really hard for his kids. I have always admired his strong work ethic and tried to mirror that. He is also a great example of fulfilling church callings and service. He too has helped us out around the house...our house thanks you. My favorite memories of my dad are on the road. We would usually take a road trip sometime during the summer. When I was little we would go visit his family sometime during the summer; Idaho, Vegas, L.A.=disneyland. He could always make us laugh and I know for a fact that we drove him crazy, especially when carrots would go flying and hit him in the head while he was driving...but he loved us anyway!

Day 8

To Chris and Grandpa Bob thanks for being great examples to us. We can always count on them for sound advice that they not only dish out but follow. Chris is also super handy and is knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! We are fortunate that he has helped us out numerous times with household projects.

Day 7

It is fitting that this picture has my grandpa at a piano because as a profession he is a piano tuner and loves to play. In fact, my favorite thing is whenever he comes over he always plays the piano...I love it! Not only does he play the piano but composes music and sings too. When he was younger, he used to be in the Air Force band, I think he played the tuba. He has always been there for me and is the only person that calls me "tiffi" and I feel special when he does. Thankful for his love and support all these years, he always believed in me and encouraged me to get married in the temple, etc. Grateful for him!

Day 4

See the resemblance? I think Cait looks just like her! Mimi aka Stephanie, my mother in law is amazing! She has been such a help to us while I am in school. Besides watching the kids she has made us dinner and once even cleaned our bathrooms...embarrassing but they needed it!

Free time

With me in school, time is precious because I never seem to have enough of it! This weekend, amidst studying and such we managed to spend time doing what I like best just hanging out.

Saturday, while Andrew was watching football by Carson's request we made candied apples. They turned out great (I don't do candy after several failed attempts but these worked!). However, I now know that I prefer caramel apples.

Sunday we made a few Halloween crafts which as you can tell, Carson was really into.

The weather has been bizarrely hot for fall and Sunday was crisp and cool and it even rained so we went outside to play in the rain, I knew we wouldn't melt so why not?!

The weekend is always what I need to semi-recharge and I love spending it with my kids because they make me happy!

Random Update

It is amazing to me how much can change in such a short amount of time! Cait has started to say ma-ma! It is super cute! I kind of wanted her to say da-da first and had been "working with her" but I guess it wasn't meant to be. She is also started sitting up and can stand for short periods of time-she is super strong!

I love it how when she smiles her eyes light up!

We have also noticed that she has a distinct laugh (video below).

Carson has started has a little attitude but I think that comes with the territory; got kids? got attitude-right!

His question of the minute seems to be, Why this and why that? I have to remind myself that is how he learns but I'll be honest sometimes I don't know why...aah! His favorite color remains pink. His interests include: music (mental note to record him singing and playing either guitar or piano--too cute!), anything outside, cartoons, taking pictures, going places, and playing with and I quote, "my garage sale monsters."

What Saturdays are made for; Saturday morning cartoons!

Nothing else is new hear just surviving--3 weeks down many to go and we are already feeling the pressure. Andrew's doing double duty and "feels groggy" (hint: go to bed earlier hon), I'm worn out, our house is less than clean but the kids are still alive and we are happy and that's all that matters. December please come soon!

Andrew pruned our hydrangeas back a few weeks ago and I got a couple bouquets of flowers, aren't they beautiful?!

So glad the kids have each other! I love to watch them together!

You and I Collide

Mr. and Mrs. Dave and Victoria Williams

The newlyweds.

The perfect backyard setting.

Their parents, my grandparents.

Funny story behind that one.

So the top picture are my mom's parents (Patricia and Cy) and the bottom are Dave's parents (Fenton and Joanne). Growing up we went to church with Fenton and Joanne and we lived across the street from them for awhile and would walk over to "Grandma and Grandpa Williams" every Sunday evening to chat, check out their chickens, roam through their orchard and eat dessert. My brother Andrew also chose Fenton to baptize him. It has been many years since that time and we have come full circle because technically they are our grandparents now.

Did you catch all of that?!

Their siblings.

Not that they read this, but just in case-A big THANK YOU goes out to Dave brother and sister, Jean and John. Jean for organizing the event and for making things look so picture perfect and for John for opening up his beautiful home.

Dave's best friend Steve and his wife Minnell (Stephanie Clarks parents)...apparantly the one's who encouraged the shot-gun, spontaneous, let's not tell anyone wedding.

Basically what Carson did all night long...run around and eat chips-he would be sure to ask us every time he wanted a "chip?", "chip?"

By the end of the night Carson was the center of attention, in the pool with all of his clothes on...that's when you know it's a party!

The pyros.

I will never understand boys obsession will fire...seriously though they did a great job of making sure the floating candles stayed lit.

Group Shot.

My mom, all six of her kids, her favorite son in law, and her only granchild all in the same place...no easy task...Dave at this point is probably wondering what he got himself into.

Welcome to the family.

Athlete of the Month

I want to give a shout out to my brother in-law Connor Morgan who is a Senior at Del Oro High School. He is a great wrestler and placed at state (112 lb.) his sophmore year.

Since that time he has had several injuries and two knee surgeries that he recuperated from and despite these set backs, he has worked extremely hard to stay on top of his game. His dedication and hard work have paid off again because this weekend he is wrestling at California's State Tournament (130lb.). He has a tough first match but he is competitive and will do great! Because I have been so busy, I am sad to say that I have not seen a single match this season--sorry. I want him to know that I wish I could be there to support him and I'll be thinking about him this weekend. GOOD LUCK!

you did great last time, let's do it again...boutitboutit!

Next year he plans on attending UVSU where he has a full ride wrestling scholarship! Connor has been nominated by a local newspaper for Athlete of the Month and if you have a minute, he needs your vote!

The Sling

It was the night before Christmas and all through the house we patiently waited for Santa to arrive.

drum roll please...
Santa had just arrived at my mom's house and we were busy capturing the moments digitally when my camera flashed me a change battery pack--nooooo!

Not wanting to miss the moment I rushed out to my car where I had left my purse and the possibility of an extra battery. Funny thing was it that day the thought occurred to me to charge the battery, but I didn't listen.

Anyway, running I fetch my purse and dashed back inside only to slip on water.

You see the walkway is concrete but the entry outside is tile. Tile is extremely slippery when wet...the next thing I know I am on the ground. The camera wasn't damaged in the process either was my phone the was in my back pocket. However, my backside aches and something is wrong with my ellbogen.

So I am laying on the ground, I yelled "HELP!"but no one heard me.

As I layed there crying, I wondering if my foot could reach the door to kick it.

I mustering up the courage to turn and knock.

My sister comes to the door saying, "you know it's unlocked." She is forgiven because she is a teenager.

The aftermath

To make a long story short, I am ok but I daresay that that was the worst pain I have ever felt-not EVER but second place.

Santa gave Carson this jingle cane and he loved hearing the bells!

this picture captures the commotion-attempts at a family picture with Santaa and me holding my arm.

Back to the fun part-Santa!
It was magical to say the least. I missed the look of awe on Carson's face when he realized that Santa was really at Gigi's but he loved every minute of it. Santa handed out presents and candy canes ( Carson ate 4, no wonder he wasn't hungry for dinner!), told a story, had a Q&A session and then we sang a song and he was off.

Us: "How many elves are in the North Pole?"
Santa: "For every person ever alive, they have had a personal elf"

Around 6 BiLlIoN!? I don't know about you but it seems like the North Pole would be overpopulated with that many little people running around.

We had dinner, opened presents and as is tradition in my family, we got pajamas. Here are the youngest members of the family modeling for us. What handsome boys, so GQ.

The End.
