Day 13

Northern California is where I call home. I love it here!

Specifically, life in Lincoln is great! Super family friendly with more than 10 parks within 10 miles and 5 of those are within walking distance!

We've walked to the park 4 times this week!

We have open space, trails and our library is 1 mile away. I also love how close we are to Roseville without having to be in busy Roseville.

We are also close a diversity of places; my favorites being San Francisco, Tahoe and Monterey.

Day 11

My mom is super fun, always the life of the party! She makes everyone feel welcome and is a great cook. She loves nature and is always helping us to try new adventures. She would drop anything in a minute if we really needed her. My mom always made our birthdays a big deal, making us feel important. She would usually pick us up at lunch plus a friend and we would play hookie for the rest of the day! Because of her, to this day I still love birthdays...maybe a bit too much, huh Andrew?!

Day10

She has been my best friend since I was 10. We met in the Rollingwood Rockets swim team. I can always count on her for advice or a real opinion about anything really. She could always count on me to clean her room so that her mom would let me stay over. She would always accuse me of flirting with guys she liked {I promise I really wasn't, I'm just outgoing!} We thought we were so cool driving around, shades on (even when it was overcast) driving, er rather speeding around town singing, "I don't want no scrub." Oh, those were the days! We used to play M.A.S.H. for hours, stuff basketballs under our shirts pretending that we were having children, and talk in English accents fantasizing about how our lives would turn out. We wanted to grow up so fast and we did! We sure don't have butlers, but I think we did pretty well for ourselves. Glad she was my friend for all those years and even gladder that she was there to save me when I earned the nickname"splash."

Day 9

My dad has always worked really hard for his kids. I have always admired his strong work ethic and tried to mirror that. He is also a great example of fulfilling church callings and service. He too has helped us out around the house...our house thanks you. My favorite memories of my dad are on the road. We would usually take a road trip sometime during the summer. When I was little we would go visit his family sometime during the summer; Idaho, Vegas, L.A.=disneyland. He could always make us laugh and I know for a fact that we drove him crazy, especially when carrots would go flying and hit him in the head while he was driving...but he loved us anyway!

Day 8

To Chris and Grandpa Bob thanks for being great examples to us. We can always count on them for sound advice that they not only dish out but follow. Chris is also super handy and is knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! We are fortunate that he has helped us out numerous times with household projects.

Day 7

It is fitting that this picture has my grandpa at a piano because as a profession he is a piano tuner and loves to play. In fact, my favorite thing is whenever he comes over he always plays the piano...I love it! Not only does he play the piano but composes music and sings too. When he was younger, he used to be in the Air Force band, I think he played the tuba. He has always been there for me and is the only person that calls me "tiffi" and I feel special when he does. Thankful for his love and support all these years, he always believed in me and encouraged me to get married in the temple, etc. Grateful for him!
