Tasty Tuesday

This is the easiest homemade bread you will ever make!

This recipe is a family favorite...and by family I mean our entire extended family, not just Andrew and I. The best part is that it doesn't call for oil or sugar and there is no kneading required!

No-starter Sourdough Bread

This is not an actual photo of our bread, but the loaves should look similar, minus the grain.

3 C. water
1 1/2 Tb. yeast
2 tsp. kosher salt
6 1/2 C. of flour

Prepare in a a large bowl (one that has a vented lid is best)
Warm water, add yeast and salt.
Mix in flour all at once and place in vented container (see above note) for 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and spray baking sheet with Pam or whatever you normally use.
Divide dough into 3 balls. Shape into circles and use knife to indent the tops.
Cover tops with flour.
Place in oven to bake for 30 minutes with an oven safe cup full of water in the rack above the bread...it uses steam to keep bread moist.

We love this bread with honey butter, jam and it makes awesome french toast bread! Enjoy!
