I Scream, you scream...

Carson and I were playing inside when we heard the ice cream truck on our street. The truck is on our street practically everyday and so far I had not been tempted to run outside but it was hot today, so I ran and got the change jar and chased the truck down, making him do a u-turn in the middle of the street.

I was so excited because I hadn't gotten anything from an ice cream truck since I was little when my grandpa would let us pick anything we wanted, thanks grandpa. The Mr. Cream was very nice, but then again I'm sure he wants our business next time we hear the familiar song.

Thinking that Carson wouldn't eat very much, I bought one to share.

(Yes, he is WALKING!!)

Carson thoroughly enjoyed this cool treat, eating all of it by himself until it melted off the stick.

I love ice cream trucks. I used to always get the grape Flintstones push-up (or a chocolate malt that you eat with a wooden spatula?).

This is Uncle Dave. What are you thinking you tight wad! You had the ENTIRE change jar! and you only buy one dadgum popsicle! I hope you learned a hard lesson since you never got any. You were a very unselfish mom to give it up to sweet, quiet little Carson. :^) Thanks for being such a great mom! Personally, I was into the "missle" or "rocket" popsicle.

Carson,

You are lucky. McKinley has only been able to convince me to stop the ice cream man one time in her life!!!!!! Love, Gramma

I love the ice cream truck. It comes through our neighborhood all the time but it is too hot to go out side. The ice cream will melt before you can get it to your front door. I love hearing the music though. it brings me back to my younger years.

I love ice cream trucks! I used to get ice cream all the time when I was a little kid. Looks like Carson enjoyed that bar;) I wish they would come in our area, but haven't heard one yet...=( Our area is too gheto for them to come around. I think this neighborhood keeps them from coming around....

Hi Tiffani! I am Theresa Mason's friend. She has been telling me about your fun blog and I love it! But I just now realized who you are! I heard all about your wedding from Stephanie Morgan way back when we used to be in the same ward. I would love to get in touch with her again. Email me:

Thanks!

so cute! I have NEVER gotten anything from an ice cream truck. there is one that comes around here but it sounds like a cow bell, or dinner bell. It always catches me off gaurd. But Hurray for Carson walking!! Now you get to baby proof even more, just wait till he starts climbing.

I can't believe that Carson is walking!! How fun... yet crazy with all the baby-proofing.

Wish I was there to stop that ice cream man too! Looks yummy!

Karen and I enjoy checking in on you on a regular basis. We're glad you guys are healthy and happy.

By the way, how does a family go about getting on your "faraway friends" list? Would we actually have to be friends?
