Harvey West Cabin

This past weekend we drove up near Lake Tahoe to a historic cabin my mom had rented. The cabin is so old that is has no electricity! However, the beautiful scenery more than makes up for the inconvenience. While there we celebrated my sisters birthday, went on a nature walk, had some amazing tacos with fresh salsa (my favorite) and enjoyed some quality family time.

That sounds like so much fun. I don't even remember the last time I did anything close to camping . . . except buying a tent on sale at Costco with Scott.

You look great, Tiffani! Looks like tons of fun. Makes me want to go camping again. I was in Reno, NV last month and was planning on going to Lake Tahoe, but never made it. Oh, well... Maybe next time.

That picture of you holding Carson up in the air is so beautiful! You should frame it :) Glad you were able to get away and out of the house. My break is when Rob gets home I get to go to Winco and I walk as slow as possible through the isles, even if I only went for one thing. It's nice to not have a loud toddler around for a bit lol.

Hi! My family is looking into renting the Harvey west cabin- can you give me an idea of how remote/isolated it is or isn't? Thanks! Abidwell@srvusd.net :)
