At the end of a day I sometimes sit back and think, "what did I do all day?"
...Please tell me I' m not alone in this!

Aside from bathing, dressing, meal prep, and damage control to the house, my days are filled with playing with my 2 kids {and feeding the other} Here's a glimpse at a day in the Morgan house.

Although the days sometimes seem mundane and I get overwhelmed {i heart bedtime!}, I consider myself lucky to be able to spend so much time with my kids and help them explore the world around them, even if we didn't go anywhere!

All Girl

Caitlin is such a girly girl {which I love} she mothers her baby dolls, "cooks" for us, requests flowers for her hair, loves the telephone, and is always into my stuff, particularly my nail polish! She will often come out of my bathroom with a chosen color and with a slight tilt of her head almost demand "nails" Our little girl is getting big...

Caitlin broke her leg 3 days after Owen was born {great timing huh?!} and has been in a cast ever since! She will be getting it off today and we are all excited!

A Name and a Blessing

We had such a wonderful with family! We blessed Owen and are lucky to live so close to our families! We attempted a family picture but I am learning that it is nearly impossible to get everyone to cooperate-so we're keeping it real! Ha-ha, our life is CRAZY!

Afterwards we had our families over for dinner.
Little did Owen know that our party was just for him!



We had soups, bread, salad, fruit and the best of course was dessert! I tried a few new soup recipes and gave out the Lasagna Soup recipe 8 times...I was delicious so I thought I'd share!


Also, this cake, Chocolate Oreo Cream Cake {if the name isn't appealing enough} was AMAZING! I'm really not just saying that, Carson who doesn't have much of an appetite and whom I can't ever bribe with dessert wanted more--I've never been so proud!
