Fairytale Town

Carson is at a stage where he remembers things that we do and does best when we are active. Today we went to Fairytale Town.

I have the best memories going there when I was a kid and I was pleased to see that nothing has changed yet it doesn't seem old either which I liked. We were lucky enough to have a few friends join us as we ran, explored and ate lunch.

After lunch a huge group of class field trips swarmed the place so we packed up and headed home.

Carson especially loved the train, pirate ship and the castle...he's all boy!

He is super cute always wanting to hold and give loves.
My favorite thing is when he says, "I love Caitlin"...she is one lucky little sister.

We will definitely go back soon!

Speaking of soon...Carson is turning 3!

Folsom Zoo

A visit to the zoo has been on my summer to-do list and we finally went! My friend Alyssa met me there and brought her two kids. We had a great time.

Carson's favorite wasn't the animals but the train. We rode the train twice and as you can see he was adamant that I sit next to him, "all aboard!" and we're off!

Carson loved the train so much in fact that when it was time to go he threw a full on tantrum...I easily could have accidentally dropped him because he was moving so frantically and yelling "mo train, train"...in between screams.

The best part for me was seeing him with one of his many friends named Will. They are a couple weeks a part in age and have fun together. Carson initiated the hand holding...so innocent. I can see them being friends for a long time.
