Pumpkin Patch

After class Wednesday, the boys met me at the pumpkin patch because it is halfway between school ans home. It was a cold and windy day but the sun was shining and we had a good time.

Our first stop was to check out all the animals. Carson loves to brush their hair and feed them.

When we were about to leave these baby goats kept jumping in their mother's back. One time, they were both up there--and I thought my back hurt! I kept trying to move to get the picture without the little girl but she kept moving too, oh well.

Carson was jumping on the hay and fell down and got hay on his hands...he doesn't really like his hands dirty (he takes after me) so he was begging for help.

Have I mentioned that he is in love with trains?!
He loves, loves, loves them!
He even came prepared and brought his train whistle with him to the pumpkin patch because he remembered that there was a train there.

He would have played on the wood trains all day but got excited when he got to buy a ticket for the real train. After our train ride the conductor let him push the "choo-choo" button and he is still talking about it!

Picture perfect

On a side note: I re-did my picture wall in the family room and finally put pictures in the photo wall in our bedroom. In our room, Andrew commented that most of the pictures were of him and Carson and he said that the wall needed more of me.

I tried to explain to him that there aren't many pictures of me. He argues that I am self-critical and that surely there are plenty to choose form. So honey, here's the truth, these are the only pictures on our camera of me from the pumpkin patch

...and by anyone's standards are not worthy of placement on a photo wall of any kind. If you don't want to dominate printed pictures, take more of me:) Love, me

That sums up our annual trip to the pumpkin farm.
We can't believe that Carson is getting SO BIG!
Till next year, Happy Halloween!

hahahaha....so is the case with most Mom's. I am always the picture taker and we have a long running joke about how when Chris does take them..i usually have cleavage showing or my mouth open, etc. Like you said...not worthy of a picture wall.

Something about boys and trains..you should bring Carson over, he would love the train setup in Grant's room!

That is so funny about the baby goats! Carson is getting cuter and cuter. And I totally feel ya on not having pictures of yourself! Husbands just do not think to take pictures. Stay on him. You're a gorgeous mama!
