Boy of many interests

This morning before church I was getting Carson ready for a bath and Andrew got up so I asked him to watch Carson for a minute so that I could finish stuff for Relief Society. So, Andrew was "watching" him (still trying to sleep) in our room and from across the house Andrew calls, "Tiffani, come here!" I go into out bedroom to find Carson covered in redness that I immediately assume is blood or bloody spit up or something. I was very concerned until I got a close up and realized that he was covered in blush! Apparently he can reach the inside of my makeup drawer and found some powder blush and decided to try it out on himself, the floor and our clean sheets. Pretty funny.

Batter, batter...

Carson got this baseball, bat and stand for his birthday. We didn't think that he would be interested in play with it until next year but he loves to hit the ball. After laughing, he will go get the ball and do it again and again. He truly is ALL boy and I love it! Just so you don't think that I am trying to raise a hard core boy, he does like to help cook and push baby strollers, so he is well rounded.
Performing his weekly chore

He has two Radio Flyers. One is just his size, the other would be just right in like 2 years. Naturally, he likes the BIG one that he can't ride by himself. After several attempts to "mount" the bike himself, I helped him on and pushed him around the yard for awhile (until my back started hurting from bending over). He must have felt like a big boy because he cried when he had to get off. He is getting so big and is wanting to do "big boy" things like climb ladders, open front doors and cross the street. They all have one thing in common-danger!

Like Father, like Son. Carson loves music. He will dance any time he hears it even is his car seat which is kind of restrictive but that doesn't stop him from doing his chest pumps. Carson is also a groupie. He loves the drums and guitar and will "drum" until we take the drum sticks away. After playing the drums with Andrew and pretending to play the guitar, he just laid down and watched. He was in heaven.

He really is growing up! I really can't wait until we move back so Carson and Bryson can play together. They would have so much fun together, playing ball, climbing ladders (or really anything) and causing trouble.

That color blush really suits Carson - it looks great on him. It is so funny seeing him on that bike. He seems too little to be doing that - I can't believe how much he's changed in such a short amount of time.
We miss you guys and hope that school's going well . . . & if you happen to have a moment to help set the nursery up, I could really use your advise. The shape of the room sucks, and I don't know how to arrange anything (only if you have time though).

He's getting so big!! I can't beleive it! I thought I would really be bummed about TWO boys but you know what...I LOVE IT! I love that they are totally ALL boys and that they like to do "man" stuff like ride bikes bigger than they are and trying to play with the "big boys"!

Boys are fun!

I hope your still doing really great in school! I am sure you are!
