Weekday Warriors

When we moved into our home a year ago we made a list of projects that we would like to complete. One of the things on our to-do list was to epoxy the garage floor. Our friend Scott had epoxied his garage floor some time ago and offered his expertise. So, Scott and Andrew went to work clearing out the garage, prepping the floor, painting on the epoxy, and then (the most fun part I'm sure) adding the aesthetic sprinkles.

The finished project looks great! If anyone is looking for an easy, (keep in mind that I didn't lift a finger) fairly inexpensive home project, this one is for you! The only negative part about doing this is the waiting for everything to dry. I miss my garage, it has been over a week since I could park in the garage and before now I hadn't realized how convenient they are.

Thanks for all your help Scott, it wouldn't have gotten done without you.

As most of you know, Andrew works from home and as a result he has never had a "real" office, and his current office was pretty pathetic because he didn't have a place to put anything. Now that the transformation is complete, he has no excuse not to be organized. He already spent most of his time in his old office, now I'm sure he won't want to leave because it's the nicest room in the house!

Our new house!

We just purchased our first house in Lincoln, California. We can't believe that we have almost been here two weeks, time flies! We are all unpacked but it still feels like we are house sitting and that someone shrunk our furniture. Friends and family are welcome anytime so feel free to come visit us and check out our new place when you are ever in town.
We love having a place to call home.
