Harvey West Cabin

This past weekend we drove up near Lake Tahoe to a historic cabin my mom had rented. The cabin is so old that is has no electricity! However, the beautiful scenery more than makes up for the inconvenience. While there we celebrated my sisters birthday, went on a nature walk, had some amazing tacos with fresh salsa (my favorite) and enjoyed some quality family time.

Roll Over

This morning Carson tried and mastered a new skill. He rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time! I thought that maybe it was just a fluke, but then he did it five more times! I'm impressed.

Two months old

Everyday is a new adventure. Not only does Carson seem to grow overnight but he also shows off more of his little personality. I am amazed because he is so good natured and mellow, he is setting a high bar for his future siblings because he is so good! This past month he has been able to focus on things from across the room and has starting making all sorts of baby noises that I call cooing. We love him more each day.
