Whenever I cook, Carson has a stool that we pull up so that he can watch and help. The other morning when I didn't have to be gone before we woke up I was making breakfast and when I was almost done he got off the stool and grabbed a lid for the pots. I tried to take it from him and put it away but he insisted on taking it with him to his highchair, so I let him.

He didn't want his food to get cold so he alternated the lid using it to keep the food he wasn't eating warm-genius!

He not only like to be in the real kitchen but pretend with his "outdoor" kitchen as well. He brings bark and rock form all over the yard and cooks them. He also puts garbage, his snacks, dirt, etc., in the fridge and microwave. It is pretty funny because he will get upset if you try to take stuff away from his "hiding places"
On the bright side, it looks like he is self-training to be the dishwasher. That's my boy.
