I am a neat freak, so sue me. Whenever I see dirt I try to forget it's there but sooner or later I MUST clean it. Take for example today: Carson was being fussy so I went over to the piano (that I can't play) to try and distract him by "playing" a few notes. The distraction was a success. However, while sitting there I noticed the keys were dusty. Why do I notice such things??
So you guessed it, I cleaned all of the 53 white and 35 black keys. This is just one example of the crazy things that I do daily could be labeled as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Defined OCD is an anxiety disorder that is the fourth most common mental illness in the U.S. Yikes! OCD causes the brain to get stuck on a particular thought or action that it just can’t let go. I read that this "disease" can't be cured, only medicated...now I have something else to worry about.
