Tonight we laid Carson down earlier than normal because with church being in the middle of the afternoon he often goes without sleep on Sundays. Sorry, back to the story. After our normal bedtime routine he was in his room for less than ten minutes when I start to hear some rustling so I walked down the hallway and could see that his door was still shut-tricky- but I can still hear something and it wasn't coming from his room. I found him in the baby's room (aka his old room) playing with the rocks in the fake tree. His back was facing me and I walked up to him and when he saw me he smiled big and said, "good morning! good morning!" repeatedly as if that was going to change the fact that it was still bedtime.

Day 3, packing up
The last day came much too soon.
Next year we'll have to make the rip at least one day longer.
Rambo and the Tree Hugger, in Carson's defense he was pretending the bark was a phone.
After breakfast we packed up camp and some left and the rest of us headed down to the beach before taking off.
Strike a pose.
No shower for three days, check. Bed head, check. Loving the beach, check, check.
We are so glad that we have such awesome friends and that we got to spend the last of our summer days with them in such a beautiful place.
