Our little man is getting so big! He can finally scoot/army crawl but he is kind of lazy in this department, so he doesn't do it unless he really wants something. These days he is most interested in standing and walking. If we are playing on the floor he will come up to you and grab your fingers. This is his way of saying, "let's go, I want to walk." He will walk along things and stand momentarily unassisted, like in the picture above. He now has his two front teeth and based on his sleeping habits the past few days, I think that more are on their way. Some of his favorite foods include spaghetti sauce, pancakes, smoothies, cheerios, and anything from our plates. The only food aversion we have noticed is his dislike for bananas, to him they are slimy. In addition, he can't get enough of being outside and he tries to interact with the neighborhood kids by squealing and waving hi.

Tasty Tuesday
Last week I was out of town and the week before that I was just plain busy so this week's edition is better late than never. This is one recipe that always comes to mind when I am thinking of having people over because it is easy to prepare and feeds many mouths.
1 can Cream of Chicken
1 (8 oz.) container of sour cream
1 C. Salsa
2 tsp. chili powder
2 C cooked chicken
1 C. Monterey Jack Cheese
10 Flour Tortillas
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 green onion, sliced
Mix soup, sour cream, salsa and chili powder
Mix 1 C. salsa mixture with chicken and cheese
Spread about 1/4 C. chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla. Roll up and place seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour remaining salsa mixture over enchiladas. Cover.
Bake at 350* for 40 min. Top with tomato and onion.
Birthday Fun
I can hardly believe that another year has come and gone and that I am now 25! With our families living in town we usually get a three day celebration (mine, his and one of our own) which is fine with me. My family came over on Saturday to celebrate and on Sunday we went to the Morgan's.
Yesterday, I received so many phone calls and e-mails wishing me a happy day, thank you for remembering! Chelsie, my oldest friend (of 14 years) didn't have to teach, so she brought me lunch and we went to the park with Carson. It was fun to catch up and have some fun in the sun.
Later that night we went bowling with a group of friends. Whenever Andrew and I can't think of anything to do, I always suggest bowling but according to Andrew that is classified as a group activity. I didn't want to do the usual birthday dinner so I called some friends. Little did I know that they had mad bowling skills, some bringing their own bowling shoes and ball!
I was impressed by the two pregnant women of the group (Catherine and Liz) who brought their "A" games and showed us how to get high scores by any means necessary.
