Treasure Hunt

We have been go, go, go so Monday was a change of pace for us while we relaxed and stayed home all day. To keep Carson entertained while Caitlin was napping we went on a treasure hunt in our neighborhood.

We didn't even go that far but he found lots of stuff!

After collecting his treasures, he went to work with the glue and made a collage of all his finds.


Tada! The finished project...he was super excited to show dad and after her nap, Caitlin enjoyed being outside in the jumper.

Fondant

Last week my mom's ward had an interest group activity where we learned how to use fondant which I refer to now as playdough for adults.

The activity was super fun and rolling it out actually made us sore the next day-go figure!

It was fun to use our creative juices and make {in my opinion} some pretty impressive cakes! I reaided the ladies cupboards for a circle template (spice lids) and polka dots were pretty popular after that!
