WICKED!

For Mother's Day Andrew got us tickets to see Wicked in San Francisco! We are probably one of the last people to see this play but I was super excited I even bought the CD...the last CD I bought was Christina Aguilera (genie in a bottle) so you can figure out how long ago that was! Anyways, Andrew's mom was nice enough to watch the kids and off we went.

When we go places we like to try one of a kind places and we found a local 50's diner featured in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives: called Bubba's Diner. It was pretty good especially their PB and chocolate shake...video is what sold us on the place. So if you're ever in the area you should check it out!

After we ate we made our way through the city. On our way there we saw a ton of people biking so I took a picture. I have no idea what the event was but found it entertaining regardless.


We thoroughly enjoyed Wicked and still have the songs running through our heads!

Sunday morning I was sitting on our couch reading the Ensign when I heard a thought THUD! I look up the see feathers floating through the air. Curiosity made me get up and look outside and I found a dead bird on our ottoman.


Now, I now that I have the reputation for keeping a clean house but in my defense the window was not clean so I am not sure what the bird was thinking when he/she flew into it. I wonder if it was trying to commit suicide or if our home is truly that inviting. The other thing I thought of was last seasons Bachelor when (I don't recall her name) at her home town date they buried the pigeon...weird. No burial here, ours went straight into the trash.
