For the past 4 years anytime we would receive cell phone calls at our home we would have to go outside, away from the covered patio in wind, rain, or blazing heat to get any kind of coverage. WE were not satisfied but didn't think we could do much about this lack of coverage.
However, after being in Montana and getting perfect reception even floating down a river in the middle of nowhere did we get a bit more disgruntled. I mean we live near a freeway and a school in a highly populated area so we expect to be able to use our phones dang it!
After complaining several times to AT&T, we finally got a Microcell and viola! We are free to stay indoors of we choose and roam the house without having to stand in any particular place hoping to keep a 1/2 bar of coverage! We couldn't be happier!

That's cuz it's AT&T. When you want to switch to Verizon, you know who to call. =) hee hee.
