This weather is unpredictable. Just last week it was in the 90's and although I was hoping that it wouldn't get too hot fast, I enjoyed wearing summer clothes, in fact, I almost put away Carson's sweaters and such-good thing I didn't!
Carson today enjoyed playing in the rain with the umbrella and I was lucky enough to be home to sing in the rain with him.
I sure love this little guy!
Does anyone know how I can keep the umbrella red in the b&w photos? I have access to Adobe Photoshop CS as well as a few other editing programs-help!

He is so cute!! Make it black and white first then color in the umbrella. You can do this on photoshop.
When I've done this in the past, especially with solid contrasting colors like your big red umbrella, I've used the magnetic lasso tool, or the magic wand tool to select the portion of the picture I want to keep the original color. Then I've inverted the selection so I've actually selected everything else in the image. Then apply the black and white filter.
Another way is to duplicate the layer, make the top layer black and white, then erase the parts of the top layer that you want colorized.
Oh, it's easiest to erase when you zoom in. Hope that helps!
Thanks guys! I really need to take a class to learn how to use Photoshop because when I try to use it, I get lost! If I figure it out, I'll be sure to post!
oh he is SO cute.. and so are you! congrats on finishing soon. good luck!
