Wishing

I had the worst day and I won't bore you with the details...but I am dreaming of a break at this Resort in Hawaii with breathtaking views, a private lagoon, amazing weather, picture perfect sunsets, where I can play all day with my family by my side...

Always Check Your Kids Homework

Mrs. Jones, a first grade teacher, gave her class a homework assignment to draw a picture of the person they most wanted to be like when they grew-up.

(Here's the reply the teacher received the following day)

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.

I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.

From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely,

Mrs.Smith

My Sunshine

Carson is 20 months now and he is super fun! He talks non-stop and sometimes we wonder if it's normal but we really aren't too concerned. My favorite things he says include, "please", "dant you,"(oh so polite:) "Amen," "pibba" (pizza), and "waz dat." He constantly is asking what is that and is very curious. He loves to be outside and luckily the weather here has been amazing so he has gotten to play outside practically the entire day some days.

When he's not outside he loves to play with his cars and in his tent.

melts your heart...mine at least.

We have the tent set up in our room and he likes that it is away from his normal play environment, he could seriously play in the tent all day. Days that I am discouraged, he is my sunshine. I love him soo much!
